I never know what day it is, due to Shaun's five on three off work week...our weekends are usually weird, not the typical Saturday and Sunday...so i was quite happy when i found out it was Saturday today! haha. I just love waking up on a sunny day and opening my front door to let the sun poor in...its refreshing. We started this weekend off right last night by grilling chicken and potatoes and heading to Canterbury for some fresh farm ice cream. I love living in CT...its a different world. Farm lands and rolling hills, fresh fruit and vegetable stands on almost every driveway, raw milk, herb shacks, bundled hand picked flowers, fresh farm eggs, and of course the ice cream. We have great ice cream... made with the dairy of their own cows. Delicious and well worth the drive.

Connecticut is also huge on antique and vintage shops, i visited a shop yesterday and found myself an antique silver dish and a pottery mug... for some reason i love having my chai every morning in a different mug.
