Ava is on a new kick lately about wearing two different shoes....it cracks me up cause if I ever wore two different shoes i would feel self conscious and worry what people might be thinking...Not my Ava she is so confident. She thinks its beautiful. She lets EVERYONE know that she has two different shoes on and that her mommy let her wear it...then she adds "is that funny?" People love it!
I love how children can look at such an imperfect world and see beauty everywhere. I love that Ava makes life fun...even as little as changing up your shoes...... she thinks its hilarious. Saturday, we were about to leave for family night and Ava asked me if she could wear two different shoes....Shaun Said sure lets all do it! even though I felt weird, I was reminded how simple life is for a kid and how fun it can be when you just don't care.

Shhhhhhh......
It has been so quiet on the blog lately...looking forward to getting back on track!
Our family just went camping out with a bunch of our church friends and let me tell you...it was awesome! love that yearly tradition and new families we meet every year...Friday night was beautiful weather and we stayed up late by the fire just laughing and roasting marshmallows....Saturday was so relaxing...woke up with a feast made by amazing woman in our church followed by an afternoon swim at polaski park....just a great weekend with our friends.
Sunday, an after camp out weekend tradition, the "campers" sing prince of peace on stage together for the church...i couldn't even make it through the song .....to hear friends, little children, new members, strangers, even my own little girls voice belt out the words of this song "I will live my life for You"...I was so overwhelmed I closed my eyes and let the tears fall.

Amazing weekend. Amazing people.
Can't wait till next year!

This is Micheal W Smith's song (Prince of Peace)
It's Monday...go out and enjoy the day!

So i just remembered i have a blog. seriously. Its been quite a crazy ten days since the last post and i would like to just update on my insane life and fun times. These past ten days have been an emotional, physical journey of trying to balance my family life, my A&L fun hobby life, my ministry life, and friendships. I can honestly say i can not balance it. yet. I am definitely trying though...

What have we been up too? Making some fun new products like Mama Butter, Baby Balm & Baby Bum Spray. White Grapefruit lip balm, Facial toner, and Lip Scrub. A&L private home party. Great Nana's 99th birthday. A fantastic PVD Lady Brunch which is a networking/ brunch/inspirational gathering of local woman doing amazing things that i am so excited to have been apart of . Had my meeting at Harvest Moon and they are now carrying A&L Co. Had my wonderful sister-in-law stacy of Unspeakable Joy Photography take some product shots. My awesome brother and I made a A&L Co. brochure. Met an amazing woman that owns alayne white spa in Bristol, RI who is interested in my Skin Care line. yay. My good friend gave me loads of fresh spearmint. Inventory making for the upcoming fairs. Feeling really blessed to have great support from friends, family & even strangers. THANK YOU!

Its been pretty quiet on the blog....only because its been insane outside of the blog. I can't believe its already Friday...the weeks are flying by and i feel like I'm missing summer because of this rainy weather! This week was just hanging out and out of the cold, wet, rain...and on the nice days we went out and enjoyed the sunshine...this weekend is full of exciting things like a school closing program, family time, bike ride, filling orders and Nana's 99th birthday!

Looking forward too some much needed family time...and preparing inventory for the Harvest Moon Health store for our meeting on Monday! I'm so excited and praying it goes well! I personally love that shop, its the only health food store around in Ct and i usually go to buy dried pineapple rings and yogurt covered pretzels for a summer treat!

Have a wonderful weekend...see you on Monday!

Yet another crazy, busy weekend...Friday night I was up very late getting ready for the art fair that was on Saturday...i was making face balm, and facial toner and even had Shaun cutting and helping me get organized...i felt like i had a million things to get done and it was already 10:00 pm. It was tense. Saturday i woke up so excited to get started on my day and saw torrential down pour in the forecast all day...what a bummer.

I packed up the car anyway and headed to Putnam for the fair...i was so relieved to see that it was being held inside and out of the rain! whoo hoo! It was a great day, even though it wasn't super busy
A&L Co. made alot of sales, did some networking, and had a great time with Tello & Rose...
Sunday was the most insane day....started with music practice at 8:30 am, church to follow, went straight to the art fair for a couple more hours (because it was such a beautiful day), Shaun picked me up at 4:30, went right back to church for music practice at 4:45
and finished with our awesome worship night.

Even, though it was a busy weekend and A&L Co. did awesome in the launch of the new products....i was mostly blessed to see the amount of people that came to our worship service. A year ago we had a piano player, a singer and two guitarists, and about nine people in the pews....
We now have a new pianist, drummer, two singers, and two guitarists and about thirty people praising God in the pews. Totally cool.

    pics from the weekend...

God is good all the time.
